Lisbon Tram

Inspired by my travels through Portugal, this original watercolor captures one of the images I remember most vividly from Lisbon: its iconic yellow trams moving through the narrow streets of the city.

There are many things I remember from that trip, but the Lisbon tram has stayed especially clear in my memory. Its bright yellow color, the old architecture surrounding it and the web of overhead wires created one of those unmistakable city scenes that immediately became part of my memories of Portugal.

Painted with watercolor and fine ink details, this piece combines loose washes with the character of an urban sketch, capturing not only the tram itself but also the atmosphere and charm of Lisbon.
