Inspired by the charm of Mediterranean villages, this original watercolor captures a quiet sunlit corner where stone steps lead between whitewashed houses, blue doors and balconies overflowing with warm summer flowers.

I have always been drawn to these small architectural details: narrow streets, uneven steps, colorful shutters and plants growing around old buildings. They are part of the Mediterranean landscape and have a way of making even the simplest corner feel full of character.

Painted with loose watercolor washes and delicate ink details, this piece combines warm earthy tones with Mediterranean blues and greens, capturing the relaxed atmosphere of a summer day in Southern Europe.
