Blue Vase

This original watercolor captures a simple arrangement of delicate pink flowers in a loosely painted blue vase.

I wanted to keep this piece spontaneous and uncomplicated, allowing the watercolor to move freely across the paper. The deep blue of the vase contrasts with the small touches of pink and soft green, while the intentionally loose shapes give the composition a light and expressive character.

This painting reflects my love for simple botanical subjects and for the unpredictable nature of watercolor, where a few lines, washes and touches of color can suggest much more than they describe.
