Lavender has always been one of those plants that immediately makes me think of the Mediterranean: warm summer days, aromatic gardens and fields filled with shades of purple and soft green.
In this original watercolor, I wanted to capture lavender in a simple and spontaneous way, allowing the transparent washes, loose brushstrokes and different shades of violet to create the feeling of flowers moving naturally in the landscape.
Painted in August 2024, this piece is part of my early watercolor work and reflects my fascination with finding beauty in simple elements from nature.
